Real Estate Experience

Mini’s Real Estate experience dates back to 1987. For the past 15 years she owned and operated Century 21 Garden City Homes located in Newton, Massachusetts – a very competitive market with a diversity of housing options. After relocating to York Harbor, Maine in 2010, she sold that firm and has chosen to affiliate with the Bean Group as an Associate Broker on the seacoasts of Maine and Massachusetts.

Mini views the purchase or sale of a home as a major life transition that usually evokes a wide array of challenges and emotions She brings her strong analytical, communication, and mediation skills to that process. For buyers, she helps to assess realistic goals and maps out a facilitation strategy that is uniquely designed to meet their individual styles with limited stress. For sellers, she provides honest, factual information necessary to set the right price and, together with the extraordinary resources of the Bean Group, provides state-of-the art marketing materials to present that property with appeal to the most appropriate potential buyers.

Not only is Mini Major a seasoned real estate professional, she is a compassionate and thoughtful guide for every customer navigating the somewhat choppy waters of the real estate industry of today. She makes the process both productive and fun!

Coupled with an extensive knowledge of real estate, Mini holds a Bachelor’s degree from Dickinson College, a Masters Degree in Higher Education Administration from Bowling Green University, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Simmons College. Prior to beginning her  career in real estate, Mini served for over 20 years as a College Administrator and a Senior Administrator for Boston’s Pine Street Inn, one of the largest Homeless Services operations in the nation. From this background, Mini developed a repertoire of skills that translated easily into her work in real estate – helping prospective buyers or sellers to make the most informed real estate decisions of their lives.
